Roman cities and military camps like Carnuntum, Vindobona, and Iuvavum testify to the time when Austria was part of the Roman Empire. The Celtic-Roman settlement site on the Magdalensberg in Carinthia, now transformed into an archaeological park, or prehistoric graves.
