It is his own cry that surprises Josef, who until recently was the owner of a hotel chain: His grandson John arranges the nativity figures in a way that deviates from the Christmas story - transforming the Holy Family into a scene of intimate violence. The shock reveals a story that has not faded away. Did Josef kill the woman he believed he loved nearly fifty years ago? This is a story he cannot tell a six-year-old.
