In this edition, you will find extensive background stories about the creation of the two groundbreaking The Cure albums 'Pornography' and 'Wish'. Founding member Lol Tolhurst and guitarist/keyboardist Perry Bamonte were our interview partners. From Lol Tolhurst, we uncovered previously unknown information about the early days of The Cure and the making of 'Pornography' as a trio. Perry Bamonte, on the other hand, shared very interesting anecdotes from the creation of 'Wish' and the band's middle phase in the 1990s.
Additionally, there is a high-quality The Cure caricature that is sure to bring some laughs, more exclusive photos, and an interview with the renowned long-standing The Cure cover band Four Imaginary Boys, whose music can also be heard on the accompanying CD. They present 10 exquisite cover versions, 5 each from 'Pornography' and 'Wish', which they recorded exclusively in the studio.
