The debate is open! It is a set of 75 cards that can be used in class for conversation among students at B1 level.
The main goal of this material is to facilitate the natural process of learning the English language through discussions based on 30 topics. Each team has the opportunity to express and motivate their own viewpoint on the topics in a non-competitive context.
Key features:
The selected topics are best suited to encourage students to talk about their own experiences or to relate to various everyday situations. It stimulates reflection, promotes critical thinking, communication skills, and logical reasoning, enhances the ability to work in groups, and improves public speaking. Teachers are free to choose the cards that best match the language level of the students in the class, keeping in mind that some of them can also be used with students at A2 level.
Structure:
The box contains 75 illustrated cards, divided as follows:
30 pairs of cards with pros and cons on 30 topics,
6 cards to facilitate the formulation of arguments or to provide tips and advice,
4 colored cardboard cards for cutting out and role distribution,
5 cards that can be cut out into 30 game cards to deepen and review the topics.
Teacher's guide:
Accompanying booklet with notes and lesson suggestions for using the cards.
