The doctrine of mortality and morbility
German, Harald Westergaard, 2016Product details
Excerpt from The Doctrine of Mortality and Morbidity: Anthropological-Statistical Investigations. I am also indebted to many other gentlemen. The researchers who have kindly assisted me are too numerous to list in a preface. I can only repeat the gratitude expressed in the previous foreword from the bottom of my heart. Mr. Otto Gutsche, scientific assistant at the statistical office of the city of Breslau, has reviewed my barbaric German with his usual care. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format and repairing imperfections in the old copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a stain or a missing page, may be reproduced in our edition. However, we successfully repair the vast majority of imperfections; all remaining imperfections are intentionally left to preserve the condition of such historical works.
