Product details

In 2007, just before the onset of the international financial crisis, a New York lawyer, who is currently struggling with happiness, encounters an old college friend. Spontaneously, he accepts his offer to manage the immense family fortune of a Lebanese clan in Dubai. He hopes for a fresh start in the world's most modern city. It is only when he finds himself in the lavishly furnished luxury prison of a residential tower built for expatriates, overlooking the Persian Gulf, and realizes that the dubious financial dealings of his clients are not easily manageable, that it dawns on him that he may have exchanged one hell for another. And there he sits, alone with himself and his thoughts, while the crisis around him gains momentum. What is a "dog" to the Arab is, for us, the scapegoat - a man whose seemingly endless abilities shape the world.
