Aglaé is a nymph from the forest of Enna and the protagonist in a grand drama. Pregnant and rejected by her own father, she finds refuge in the circus troupe led by Mister Kite. Unfortunately, the circus is located in the kingdom of Marylène, where the cruel tyrant of Krantz particularly targets single mothers. Aglaé must come to terms with her new circumstances, and fate seems to smile upon her. However, in her quest for affection and self-fulfillment, she drifts from one life to another and ultimately loses more than she realizes.
