Lurker Grand releases "The Hardship Has Ended - The Era of Village Music is Over," his third and final book in a trilogy published by Edition Patrick Frey. As in 2006 with "Hot Love - Swiss Punk & Wave 1976-1980" and 2012 with "Today and Beyond - The Swiss Underground Music Scene of the 80s," the current work focuses on one thing: the history of rock music in Switzerland. However, this time the emphasis is not primarily on a musical era and its protagonists, but on the visualization of these subcultures. Designers, graphic artists, musicians, and photographers from all parts of Switzerland bring the last 50 years of Swiss rock and pop history to life through their album covers, concert posters, flyers, fanzines, comics, and photographs.
