The mother
German, Adolf Hess, Maxim Gorky, 2017Product details
Maxim Gorky (1868-1936) was a Russian writer. He rebelled against the tsarist system with his works and was sympathetic to the revolution, which he initially supported but turned away from after Lenin's death. "Mother" is a semi-documentary novel by Maxim Gorky from 1906/1907. It tells the story of the revolutionary struggle of the young worker Pavel and the associated development of proletarian consciousness in his mother. The work is considered the first and one of the most important novels of Socialist Realism.
