Study paper from 2006 in the field of Romance Studies - French - Cultural Studies, grade: 1.7, Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Institute of Romance Studies), course: The Linguistic Consequences of the French Revolution, 24 sources in the bibliography, language: German.
Abstract: Nothing is more constant in France than change, says a stereotype about the French. The best example of this is the period from the French Revolution to the fall of Napoleon. During this time, France frequently changed both its external appearance, by expanding territorially, and its internal structure, by renewing and restructuring its administration. After the Revolution, nothing of the structures of the Ancien Régime was to remain. The country was completely re-divided. In the course of this transformation, one of the most fundamental problems emerged.
