The circus comes without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, as if it hadn't existed just yesterday. The black sign hanging at the gates reads: Opens at nightfall, closes at dawn. When the sun disappears behind the horizon, small lights begin to flicker all around the tents, as if the entire circus were covered in particularly bright fireflies. As the tents glow in the dark and sparkle against the night sky, the sign appears: Le Cirque des Rêves, the Circus of Dreams. Now the circus is open. Now you may enter.
