The book series Linguistic Studies has significantly contributed to the development of linguistic theory in Germany and internationally over the past decades, with over 500 volumes. The series will continue to set new impulses for research and present the central insight of linguistics: that progress in the study of human languages is only possible through the close connection of empirical and theoretical analyses, both diachronically and synchronically. Therefore, we invite high-quality linguistic works from all central subfields of general and specific language linguistics that address current issues, discuss new data, and advance theoretical development.
