The renovation of the warehouse was a complete success and was finished on schedule by the end of June 2006. The resulting office space is bright, modern, and fully usable, making it one of the most attractive office complexes in Neubrandenburg. Opportunities to view the renovated old warehouse were available during the open house on July 22, 2006. The press and the public have expressed positive feedback after the completion of the work and are excited about what has been done with the building. Everyone involved in the renovation has reason to be proud of their achievements. Webasto recognized the efforts of the builders and invited them to a meal. According to the architect's estimates, the warehouse would have been unsalvageable and unrenovatable after about another five years of vacancy. After the renovation was completed, approximately 85 percent of the entire historic substance was preserved for the long term.
