Almost two decades ago, the quadruple murder in Remagen shocked the public. The perpetrator: the violent criminal and already convicted murderer Dieter Zurwehme, who had not returned from a day release from prison. Commissioner Gerhard Starke recalls the horrific crimes during a site visit with the young journalist Mauritius Kloft, which would be followed by a months-long manhunt across the Federal Republic.
