The Rychenberger Guest Book provides an overview of 50 years of hospitality from the Reinhart family in Winterthur's Rychenberg. In addition to relatives and friends, many artistic personalities—especially composers and performers—contributed musical examples, verses, drawings, and both humorous and reflective lines to the guest book, making it a reflection of nearly half a century of Winterthur's musical life (1903-1951). Although Werner Reinhart's hand remains invisible in the guest book, he was at the center of a network of artists from 1919 onwards, whom he supported and promoted in various ways. The concerts of the Musikkollegium, which Werner Reinhart generously co-financed and largely programmed together with the renowned conductor Hermann Scherchen, played an important role in this context.
