A woman is brutally murdered and buried in the woods. The suspicion falls on her husband, the former mayor of Ludwigsfelde, a small town south of Berlin. They had been married for almost fifty years and were considered the perfect couple. Anja Reich has followed the court proceedings. She spoke with relatives and friends of both the victim and the accused, as well as with Heinrich Scholl himself, who still denies the crime.
