Product details

The Second Letter to the Corinthians is the most personal letter of Paul. It particularly reveals how Paul understood his ministry. He starts from the attacks of opponents and the reservations of the congregation, but does not dwell on these; instead, he develops his own conception of the apostolic ministry. This commentary volume addresses the section 7:5-13:13. Excursions are dedicated to the collection for Jerusalem and to Paul's opponents in Corinth. As with the other volumes in this series, aspects of the letter's reception history are also highlighted here.
