In double homage to Arthur Schnitzler's "Reigen" and Harry Mathews' "The Pleasure of It," Hervé Le Tellier sets the erotic carousel in a delightful and refreshingly unrestrained spin. The permuted arrangements of thirteen women and men, in true oulipian fashion, create a frivolous rondo of changing pairings and cheerful, quirky sexual acts. Following the rhythm of the sextine, Le Tellier unfolds an artistic frieze of sex.
