In the heart of a wild valley in the Alps, a white wolf and a shepherd fight to their last reserves before striking a deal and finding a way to coexist. A shepherd kills a she-wolf at the border of a national park in a wild alpine valley after she has taken one of his sheep. However, unable to bring himself to kill the she-wolf's pup, an ambivalent relationship based on hatred begins to develop between them. During his hunt for the wolf in the deep snow-covered mountains, the shepherd finds himself in trouble, and only the wolf can save him.
