A disturbing assessment of current conflicts and a rare document of love. "Why didn't I see this coming?" Nour's father asks himself in despair as she leaves for Fallujah without saying goodbye to join ISIS. A passionate correspondence begins between father and daughter. The liberal Islamic scholar implores Nour to return and tries to convince her that ISIS embodies none of what Islam means to him. Nour, on the other hand, is fascinated by the new community of faith and determined to change the world through action. Gradually, however, doubts begin to grow within her, leading to revulsion. Ultimately, she makes a radical decision.
