Originating from the program "transmission.ua: drama on the move" of the Ukrainian Institute, the book gathers texts from the years 2020 to 2024, shaped by the pandemic, war, and social uncertainty. The volume is complemented by "No Cherry Orchard," a collection of 15 texts from spring 2022 that engage with a tree that also serves as the name of a Russian weapon system.

Translated by Lydia Nagel, these voices are made accessible to a German-speaking audience for the first time. "Ukrainian Horizons" serves as both an archive and a testament to cultural resistance.
