Girls' work has come under pressure in recent years. Social changes such as gender mainstreaming or the discussion about disadvantaged boys put the gender-reflective work with girls under legitimacy pressure. Scientific discourses on deconstruction and intersectionality also raise the question of whom girls' work can address today.
