In her book, Marion Miketta presents the principle of the Thinking Environment: a special thinking space based on ten components that help people think clearly, creatively, and independently—regardless of conventions or role expectations. Wherever people (individually or in groups) make decisions, seek solutions, or want to initiate change, this special atmosphere creates the ideal conditions for it. The concept of the Thinking Environment originally comes from the American communication expert Nancy Kline. After years of observing and analyzing coaching processes with leaders, individuals, and groups, she described the conditions for successful thinking processes. Marion Miketta, a student of Nancy Kline, develops this concept further in her book.
