This study examines print graphics from the 17th century, primarily illustrated pamphlets originating from the German-speaking region. For the first time, this work provides insight into this culturally and historically fascinating material, making it accessible to a broader audience. The pamphlets presented here, featuring secular themes, offer today's viewer a representative cross-section of the visual media interests of the Baroque era. As a "mirror of the times," the themes of the civilizing process, particularly through moral satire and social allegory, are prominently represented, possessing significant anthropological and historical value.
