Lise and Louis lead a simple but happy life with their son Joachim in a secluded place amidst hills and forests. One evening, when Joachim cannot fall asleep, he discovers three shadows in the distance watching the house. These shadows turn out to be three mysterious riders who soon come menacingly close to the home. Louis tries to drive away the mysterious shadows, but they seem to dissolve into thin air as he approaches them. Gradually, the parents realize that the riders have come to take their son. With a heavy heart, the father decides to flee with him - but can one escape their fate? "Three Shadows" is Cyril Pedrosa's most intense and personal work to date. This comic was rightly awarded at the Angoulême Comic Festival in 2008.
