My book about Africa takes the reader on a wonderful journey to Africa and into the world of a ten-year-old girl named Tippi. Tippi is not an ordinary child. She believes she has the gift of speaking with animals, and that they are like brothers to her. I communicate with them through my mind, or through my eyes, my heart, or my soul, and I see that they understand me and respond. Tippi is the daughter of French filmmaker and wildlife photographer Alain Degre and Sylvie Robert, who have captured her experiences with some of the most beautiful and dangerous animals in Africa on film. Tippi shares her thoughts and wisdom about Africa, its people, and the animals she encounters.
