Product details

Some relatives, friends, acquaintances, or teachers find themselves confronted with the shock that a child or adolescent wants to take their own life or even does so. Most cannot comprehend the situation, wondering if they should have noticed something or if they could have prevented the act. This study addresses the suicidal behavior of children and adolescents, which is often underestimated. It explains various terms related to suicide and the difference between a suicide attempt and suicide. Additionally, it discusses the development of death awareness in children and adolescents. The aim of this work is to raise awareness about possible signs of suicidal risk, motives and causes for suicide, as well as suicidal behavior, and to describe the psychological disorders that often accompany these issues.
