Haine is initiated into the family secret of the Togus: There are two Shizumasas! They are twin brothers, with the younger one being the true "Emperor." As long as Shizumasa has to stay away from school due to his illness, his brother Takanari steps in as his double and acts on his behalf in both private and official matters. While Haine is still sorting out her thoughts and wondering whose feelings are real and whose are not, she receives an anonymous letter that promises nothing good.
