Liz Pichon was particularly good at drawing and pottering Walt Disney characters as a child. According to her mother, she was particularly good at making a huge mess (this is still the case today). Liz held on to her passion and successfully completed her graphic design studies. At Jive Records she had her first (and only) REAL job. There she designed covers for music albums of various bands and artists, from whom probably nobody has ever heard of (although some of them probably have). Today Liz Pichon works as an illustrator and author and her picture books have won many awards. She lives in Brighton with her husband and three children.

Tom Gates has already become the best buddy for more than 80,000 boys, with whom they can laugh and have lots of fun. They adore him for his cool ideas, especially because he really gets his teachers and his sister Delia upset. And also the parents idolize our beloved chaotic boy, because through him their boys reach for the book! Disaster!
