Angelika Scholz, born on August 10, 1945, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, is a Hessian politician of the CDU and a former member of the Hessian State Parliament. After completing her schooling, she trained as a graphic designer from 1963 to 1966 and worked in this profession until 1969. Angelika Scholz is Catholic, married, and has one child. She has been a member of the CDU since 1973 and has been part of the state board of CDU Hessen since 1998. Since 2001, she has been a member of the presidium of CDU Hessen. Additionally, she has been the state chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hessen since 2000. In local politics, she has been active since 1977 as a member of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district council and served as a member of the State Welfare Association of Hessen from 1989 to 1997. From 1997 to 2001, she was the chairwoman of the district council faction.
