The aim of the book on structural frameworks and other structures is to expand the conventional decision-making bases according to the currently valid procurement and contract regulations when designing and maintaining existing buildings based on construction costs, as well as on data regarding optimal structures of construction designs for the calculations to be presented for comparing the considered structural variants along with prices. Since the quantitative collection of the structural data necessary for structural calculations and the evaluation of the individual construction parameters of all structural elements for variant comparison was not yet known, research and assessments were conducted over many years. For designs of new buildings and assessments of structure-related damages and deficiencies in existing frameworks, model and building measurements as well as calculations regarding the eigenvalue are required.
