In its fundamental dependence on the inescapable yet reconstructable colloquial language, the unlimited community of argumentation represents the core and prerequisite of a transcendental-hermeneutic self-understanding of philosophy. This contains the synthetic unity of the transformation of philosophy that will be documented in the following sections. The last of the following essays attempts to demonstrate that in the apriori of argumentation, which as such implies a possible distancing from all practical engagement, practical reason can nonetheless find the basis for an intersubjectively valid ethics.
