This book offers training aimed at developing a better understanding among professional caregivers regarding the needs of family caregivers with a migration background, thereby enhancing communication, counseling, and care for clients with a migration background overall. In four modules, participants explore the perspectives and experiences of migrants in caregiving situations and reflect on their own behavior. The trainer is guided in detail through each session and receives numerous supportive materials, such as exercises, templates, and quizzes, available for download to ensure successful implementation of the training. The offering is complemented by a second training program in four modules focused on directly training family members with a migration background. This is aimed at all nursing service managers and social workers in outpatient services who support families with migration backgrounds.
