Vittorio Cavini has written an encouraging book: About a person with multiple sclerosis who conquers the world. It was 30 years ago when Cavini was diagnosed with this insidious disease, but he never allowed himself to be intimidated. Until his retirement in 1992, he continued to work as a journalist, first for local Italian daily newspapers, then for the Milanese "Il Giorno," and finally for the RAI broadcaster in Bolzano. Cavini has written several books in his life, and "In a Wheelchair Around the World" is the first that addresses his illness. However, he only mentions the disease in passing, as if he were talking about an uncomfortable travel companion who uninvitedly keeps showing up.
