Augustine was a Church Father, bishop, philosopher, rhetorician, and writer in the late Greco-Roman antiquity. What more could be said and praised about him that hasn’t already been expressed in every conceivable way? The author invites us, through his book, to approach Augustine as a fellow human being, stepping a little away from the analytical and investigative gaze and interest of academia. This attempt has been successful.
