Christoph Brechtel is a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist, behavioral trainer, and coach. Since 1977, he has been publishing articles, brochures, guides, books, and CDs on the topic of relaxation. This book is a double edition: it presents two established methods of psychotherapeutic relaxation, namely muscular deep training and autogenic training, in the version that the author originally published in 1977. The brochures were initially designed as instructional booklets for his patients in the clinic, later used in adult education courses and stress training for executives, and were reserved for the respective participants. This new edition is - with only minor changes - content-wise and design-wise still the same as the originals.
