Product details

"The Egoist" is written from the first-person perspective and tells the story of the struggles of a young family man who increasingly suffers from long-suppressed neuroses since the birth of his son. As living with his girlfriend and newborn son becomes more unbearable, the protagonist remains alone in their shared apartment and gradually sinks into complete isolation, becoming barely able to fulfill his daily obligations. Seeking solace in writing, he hopes to find answers to his tormenting questions, which mainly revolve around his seemingly unresolved sexuality. However, as he is his own worst enemy, the search for his true needs becomes a relentless battle. Will he, despite his deeply ingrained beliefs, ultimately succeed in breaking free?.
