When talking about the Pretuler Buam in today's times, the popularity and fame of the highly successful Langenwang folk music group immediately come to mind. From their founding year in 1960 until their last performance in 1980, the Pretuler musicians were a milestone in the musical history of Styria. Many performances far beyond the borders of our federal state served as a significant promotional factor in various areas. Music connects people, entertains them in all walks of life, and brings joy to all generations. Thus, the Pretuler Buam were and still are today an inspiration for many people to pursue a musical education.
