Rosemarie Hofer has been working as a portrait photographer for over forty years and gained recognition primarily through her portrait images of various politicians, authors, and athletes. Until shortly before her 50th birthday, she operated as a businesswoman and photographer, as well as a wife and mother, in a manner deemed socially acceptable, until her cancer diagnosis. With the diagnosis, her life first changed out of necessity, and then she transformed her life based on a new way of thinking. For several years now, Rosemarie Hofer has also been active as an over-50 model, author of essays and articles for various magazines, and as a freelance PHOTO ART artist with her own exhibitions both domestically and internationally. "DULIDU Patiently I Defeated Cancer" is the first of several books in which she reflects on living authentically from her perspective.
