In my book "Free Riding - A Motorcycle Journey to the End of the World," I share a personal story that I had the privilege to experience. My adventurous spirit and passion for motorcycling took me to South America. In December 2016, I embarked on a three-month journey with my motorcycle. Starting in Valparaiso, I rode along the Pan-American Highway to the Atacama Desert. The breathtaking landscapes enchanted me and captivated my senses. The journey took me beyond 4,000 meters in altitude to the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat on Earth. As I made my way further south along the Andes, I experienced unforgettable moments. The journey itself was the destination, which lay in the distant regions of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. I encountered unique people, and the hospitality I received was a great gift that I gratefully accepted.
