Product details

The sensitively and humorously told story revolves around the little person, Elisabeth-Maria, who is called EM by everyone. From the moment of her birth, EM is very small. As she grows up, her parents worry about whether EM can cope with the dangers of a big city school in Frankfurt. EM's parents try to prepare her for this environment: her mother wants to send her to the countryside to stay with her grandparents, while her father trains her in applied conflict management. However, neither approach leads to the desired outcome. Surprisingly, EM's time in kindergarten and elementary school goes very well. She is very popular, partly due to her sandbox friend Maik, who protects her from bullying by other children. However, everything changes when EM starts high school. Maik turns away from her and forms friendships with others.
