This work is part of the Tredition Classics book series. The Hamburg-based publisher Tredition publishes works from over two millennia in the Tredition Classics series. Many of these works were largely out of print or only available in antiquarian form. With the Tredition Classics series, Tredition aims to reissue thousands of classics of world literature in various languages as printed books, worldwide. The series serves to preserve literature and promote culture, thereby helping to ensure that many thousands of works do not fall into oblivion.
