Little has been known until today about the use of thorium in the Third Reich. Clearly, it was only used in gas lanterns. The fact that thorium was also intended to be used for the production of fissile uranium is known, if at all, only to a few specialists. This book describes how this was attempted without using a reactor, demonstrating how an element, namely thorium, can be utilized for both the benefit and detriment of humanity.
