Product details

Our climate obeys a highly complex system of effects outlined by nature. The driving force of this climate system is the sun. Such a complicated structure cannot be static; it is subject to constant natural fluctuations. Recently, however, there is a well-founded suspicion that humans are also a disruptive factor in the climate system by releasing greenhouse gases like CO2 into the atmosphere, thus shifting the natural radiation balance. The heating effect of the sun is increasing. At this point, scientific opinions diverge deeply and irreconcilably. The self-proclaimed climate realist believes to know that anthropogenic CO2 is tipping the climate, inevitably and mercilessly leading to a climate catastrophe. In contrast, those dismissed as climate skeptics claim that CO2 is merely a marginal driver of climate change.
