The topic of stocks still provides material for a current book, even four and a half years after the end of the banking crisis, in which an attempt is made to clearly demonstrate the advantages of stocks over other investments to the reader. The losses incurred in 2008 have kept many potential investors away from the stock markets, even though stock prices have long since recovered from the low point in March 2009. On average, all stock prices have doubled or even more than doubled since that crisis. This also brings up the issues of 2013. The question is, can one still get in now, or are we already facing another sell-off in the markets, and how should one prepare for it? The author presents a way to become a seasoned investor in the stock market using the Do-it-yourself method without external help.
