Traces are witnesses. People also leave a multitude of them. Not all are significant, not all are visible. Some last longer, a few forever. Traces are impressions that have an effect, that we experience, and that sometimes awaken memories within us. The poems presented here also speak of them, of traces that life draws; they appear like events, not subject to any order, often random, and their value is determined by the judgment of those affected or by the perspective of the observer.
