Marianne and Inge, two senior ladies in the prime of their retirement, embark on an approximately 80-day journey with their camper every spring. This time, they will take the ferry from Rügen to Lithuania, then travel through the three Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. In Tallinn, the camper will stay for five days. From there, a privately booked bus will take them to St. Petersburg. The tours have been personally selected and booked through the agency "Petersburg up close." They will share experiences that are truly moving. The return trip with the camper through Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will take them to the "Baltic Way," which documents the human chain across the countries. They will meet people, explore cities and villages, experience history firsthand, and enjoy many previously unknown highlights. Most of the campsites are very good and well-maintained.
