Carmen Coduri has been suffering from a manic-depressive illness, now known as bipolar disorder, for 20 years. In this book, she describes all the highs and lows in her life, as well as what she has experienced and done during her various phases. She recounts her numerous admissions to a psychiatric clinic in Switzerland and her experiences traveling in Spain, Greece, and Paris. Her many relationships with men, adventures, and extended stays in New York and Italy are also addressed. Additionally, she attempts to explain how her illness developed through her childhood memories and life traumas. Meanwhile, she has been artistically active for over 25 years, painting and sculpting.
