He comes into contact with the unique atmosphere of port cities, shipyards, and shipping companies, enjoying the flair and customs of global maritime shipping. During one of his presentations as a lead engineer in marine gearbox technology, he meets Sally Winters by chance. She is stunningly beautiful, intelligent, and the chief stewardess of an internationally operating airline. For Mike, it's love at first sight, while Sally initially behaves hesitantly.
