In autumn 2009, the first edition of "Trier on Foot" was published by Leinpfad Verlag. Since then, we have sold over 4,000 copies. This is reason enough for us to plan a second edition. The two authors, Verona Kerl and Roland Morgen, have reviewed all the information boxes, event suggestions, and dining tips, replacing or updating them as necessary. They have updated photos and maps, as the main post office is no longer located at Kornmarkt and the bus numbers have changed. Additionally, they have developed three new tours: an architecture tour that leads to significant architectural monuments, a hike through the wild forest to Markusberg, and a tour particularly interesting for photographers, showcasing the sunny sides of the attractions in the city center. This tour answers the question: At what time of day is the best highlight to photograph from which location?.
